I am interested in working for you as a Mechanical Engineer 1. I have worked in the service industry since I graduated from high school. I have been alternating between work and school over the past 8 years. At work I found great satisfaction in obtaining the optimal solution to my client’s problem. I was so inspired that I decided to go to school for Engineering. I have hands-on experience in the machine shop using engine lathes, CNC mills and various other machines. For my senior project I found a solution to the problem of storing bikes in a crowded apartment. The project was a success because I carefully designed, analyzed, constructed and tested my device. Since I am a fresh graduate I understand there is much learning ahead of me. I am very excited to work under a more experienced engineer in the field and increase my knowledge as my career matures.
